Hi, I’m Mark — the inventor behind Block Master® and Spotbord®. I’ve been a bricklayer for over 28 years, working across the UK, the Channel Islands, and even Australia. Through decades on site, one thing has always stood out: cutting blocks is awkward, time-consuming, and can feel like wasted effort — especially when you’re paid by the square meter.
The Problem That Sparked the Solution
Every time I had to put down my trowel, set up a machine, or climb up and down scaffolding to cut blocks, I knew there had to be a better way. On many jobs, time is money — and the usual methods were slowing me down.
After years of trial, error, and countless designs, I finally developed the Block Master® — a simple, practical tool that cuts your block cutting time in half and works in almost every situation.
